Information

Gulluoglu, which so much matched to name of Baklava, not only the name of a mark or a firm, but it also is like a family name. Gulluoglu Family is happy to leave a 100 years of profession of Baklava behind that leads from father to son for over 5 generations. Gulluoglu Family, who produces the very first baklava in Gaziantep in 1871 by Gulluoglu Celebi, opens their first production and sale store in Istanbul in 1949. Later on Nejat Güllü, one of Mustafa Gullu's sons, leaves that institution in Karakoy in 1983, and presents his own production and sale place in order to meet intensive demands. Faruk Gullu, another son of Mustafa Gullu, leaves the firm in 1993 and opens his own sale and production place in Azerbaijan/Baku, and presents his first establishment in Bakirkoy, Istanbul in 1994. Gulluoglu Faruk Gullu Company, improving his marketing and sale network, has now been keeping his serving on under the modern and hygienic circumstances at a place whose area is 5000 m2 in

Merter since earlier 2001. The mystery to preparing Faruk Gullu sweets is knowledge, experience and respect to the profession and carefulness that hands down from father to son over 134 years. These properties prove themselves at every moment of baking baklava. When wheat of Harran plains, peanuts of Gaziantep and butter of Urfa are combined by proficiency of baklavas' masters, the difference of Gulluoglu frankly appears on.

Gulluoglu, the baklava baker, has still been serving his customers at the store opened in Antalya in June 2005, 3 in Rami, 2 in Bakirkoy, Topkapi, Cevizlibag, Merter, Bahcelievler, Gaziosmanpasa, Ikitelli, Sirinevler, Avcilar, Florya, Kozyatagi stores and production & sale center in Merter as 17 sale spots in total.

Gullugoglu Faruk Gullu, who goes on his activity abroad by establishing a production & sale store in Baku, Azerbaijan, also exports baklava to Germany, Switzerland, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Russia, BDT, USA and countries in Northern Europe, and so he moves on with his consciousness of having a mission that represents Turkey to outside. Faruk Gullu, who moves the tradition to the known future coming along since 1871 by combining the knowledge and technology of the age, has been proud of continuing pioneering of the sector while improving and widening his product fan.
