Ta Nhcia seems to have found its rightful place on the shores of the Bosphorus
They've taken the place of the old Socia and turned it into a beautiful Greek-style garden.
They've kept the traditional launch and the blue and white colors from Socia, to preserve that Greek feel.
The seats, the walls and the cushions all transport you to another place. As for the food, under the chef Semih Kaplan, Ta Nhcia is considered the number one Greek restaurant in Istanbul.
They present the most delicious portions of Radika and sea algae, and the chef recommends the Perkas Marinatos, the Anginara me Kotopulo'yu (skewered fish with artichokes), and the Hallumi Kalamaki (skewered halloumi cheese).
They also ordered the grilled calamari, and the Begendili Balik Kavurma is also a winner. For dessert there's the Firinda Elma Tatlisi (over baked apple dessert).
They serve both lunch and dinner, but the real flavor of the place really comes out at nights. For lunch the place is good to bring business guests perhaps.
Every day between 9:30pm and midnight there's live music played by Jimi and Yanni on bouzouki and guitar. After the live music the fun carries on with a DJ. You can hang out either at the bar or in the cushioned floor section
